Our Story
Community ImPACT Inc. was born from a deep-seated commitment to serve and uplift the residents of the Tri-Cities area (East Point, College Park, and Hapeville).
Stemming from the vision of Impact Church, which sought to create a relevant faith community dedicated to positive change, Community ImPACT was established as a separate non-profit entity to address pressing community needs. The "Tri-Cities: Expanded Community Outreach Feasibility Study" (2018) highlighted significant challenges in our community, including disparities in child well-being, housing instability, and unemployment, inspiring us to be proactive in offering quality outreach programming.
What We Do
Community ImPACT is dedicated to "meeting people where they are" and providing tangible pathways to stability and success. We are committed to a holistic approach, developing and implementing programs focused on:
Foundational Stability: Addressing basic needs like food security and moving towards comprehensive social service support.
Educational Success & Workforce Readiness: Offering resources and support for individuals to achieve their educational and career goals, including job readiness workshops and connections to GED/continuing education programs.
Housing Stability: Providing information, navigation services, and educational workshops to help residents secure and maintain safe, affordable housing.
Healthy Living: Promoting overall well-being through access to resources, information, and community initiatives.

It is also a community facing unique challenges, including significant needs in areas like education, employment, and affordable housing. Our programs are designed for all residents who can benefit from support in achieving their goals and enhancing their quality of life.

Welcome to Community ImPACT Inc.! It is an honor to lead an organization so deeply committed to fostering positive change and empowering individuals and families throughout our beloved Tri-Cities communities of East Point, College Park, and Hapeville.
Our journey began with a clear and compelling call to action: to address the opportunity gaps that exist for too many of our neighbors. The statistics and stories from our community highlight urgent needs—from ensuring every child has the foundation to succeed academically, to supporting adults in securing sustainable employment, and helping families find and maintain safe, affordable homes. These aren't just numbers to us; they represent the lives and aspirations of the people we are dedicated to serving.
At Community ImPACT, we believe that everyone deserves the chance to reach their full potential. Our approach is rooted in providing holistic support – understanding that stability and success often require addressing interconnected challenges.We aim to be a community destination, a hub of resources, support, and collaboration. The challenges before us are significant, but so is the collective strength and spirit of the Tri-Cities. We are inspired daily by the resilience and aspirations of our
community members.
